Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what personal data Verdosa collects, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to verdosa.co.uk and to any enquiry you send us.

We keep the amount of personal data we hold deliberately small. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not profile visitors, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.

Who we are

Verdosa is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our contact details are at the end of this page. If you have any question about how we handle your data, please email sales@verdosa.co.uk.

We do not ask for, and would prefer you did not send us, information about your health or medical conditions. Health data is a special category of personal data under UK GDPR and needs greater protection. If you do include health information in a message to us, we will treat it as confidential and use it only to respond to you.

We cannot give medical advice. Nothing you receive from us is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for advice from a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified health professional. Please speak to your own health practitioner before taking any supplement, particularly if you are taking medication, are under medical supervision, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Cookies and tracking

Our website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run tracking pixels or build profiles of visitors.

Our pages load typefaces from an external font service. When your browser requests these, it connects to that service's servers, which means your IP address is visible to them. If you would rather this did not happen, most browsers and privacy extensions allow you to block external font loading. We will update this policy if we introduce cookies or analytics in future.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of established service providers to run the website and our email. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

If you would like to know which specific providers we use, please contact us and we will tell you.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.

We may also disclose personal data where we are required to by law, by a regulator such as Trading Standards or the Food Standards Agency, or by a court, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

If you buy from a marketplace

If you buy a Verdosa product through Amazon or another marketplace, that marketplace is responsible for the personal data you give it and operates under its own privacy policy, not this one. We receive only the limited information the marketplace passes to us in order to fulfil and support your order.

How long we keep it

Keeping your data safe

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including using reputable providers, encrypted connections, access controls and keeping the data we hold to a minimum.

No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. Where you send us information over the internet, you do so at your own risk. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office and, where required, you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email sales@verdosa.co.uk. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else. These rights are not absolute — for example, we may need to keep certain records to meet legal or food safety obligations, and we will explain if that applies.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Other websites

Our site links to other websites, including WhatsApp and, in future, marketplaces where our products are sold. This policy does not cover those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Please read their own privacy policies.

Children

Our products are intended for adults and our website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new services or change how we work. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version always applies. Where a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to make it clear.
